Answer: Currently, we will not be offering these specific masks for personal purchase. However, the Barnes & Noble bookstores will have branded masks available at the campus stores soon. Also, IU masks can be purchased through the Fanatics website.
Answer: Yes, any masks purchased with IU funds, must comply with EH&S standards as well as meeting licensing and trademark guidelines.
Answer: Individuals who hold active positions and fell into any of the following categories were included in the initial mask order:
- Appointed academic employees
- Staff
- Adjunct faculty
- Temporary employees with retirement benefits
Masks for individuals who fit in neither category may be ordered via the PPE FireForm when this option is available.
Answer: Plexiglass shields that do not require installation, such as guards for customer service areas, should be purchased via Guy Brown. This process is outlined on the Plexiglass Shields page. If you are purchasing plexiglass which requires installation, contact Facility Operations before placing your order for guidance.
Answer: Yes! Review the IU Catalog spreadsheet, available in BUY.IU, for a listing of available shields and their dimensions. Visit the Plexiglass Shields page for instructions on how to access this resource.
Answer: Yes, but you must get approval first. The items listed on the IU furniture spreadsheet have been vetted and approved by the University Architect’s Office (UAO). If you wish to purchase plexiglass shields not on the list, submit a Request For Service (RFS) detailing your request. UAO will review your request and advise on next steps.
